Portland International Airport now allows passengers to travel with cannabis provided the trip is within the State. Port officials announced that Transportation Security Administration will no longer search bags for cannabis as long as passengers follow the state’s law and aren’t flying out of Oregon.

As of July 1, anyone 21 years and older is legal to possess up to an ounce of cannabis in public or half a pound in private and grow up to four marijuana plants for personal use. It’s also legal in Oregon to possess up to 16 ounces of cannabis-infused solids and up to 72 ounces of cannabis-infused liquids.
