What is a caregiver?

A caregiver is someone that you designate to purchase and possess marijuana on your behalf. That individual has the same legal protection as you in purchasing and possessing the medicine. They CANNOT use marijuana for any reason. A caregiver should be someone that you trust and that can assist you in times of need.

To designate a caregiver, you will need a copy of their ID, and you will need to submit their information on your state application.
